What do you enjoy most about instructing?
What I enjoy most about coaching is helping kids reach their goals both mentally and physically. The process of teaching is what keeps me going.
I love to work with all athletes from beginners to professionals. The beginners come in wide-eyed and ready to learn, but the upper-level players can focus on the mental side of the game that is so under-appreciated.
In which area do you excel the most in your job?
I provide a ton of energy in my lessons. I like to focus on mechanics, but know when to let somebody loose and compete.
When did you start working for DiamondFit?
I started at DFP in September of 2014.
Sanderson HS ‘08
PittCC ‘10
Radford University ‘11-‘12
KC Royals ‘12-‘17
Bachelors Degree in Media Studies, concentration in Marketing and Advertising
Tell us about any special talents or unique things about you that are unrelated to your career.
I love to quote any Will Ferrell movie and I can remember song lyrics better than anything I learned from math class.
